Pictures, Pictures & More Pictures!

Here is a collection of pictures from Ryan Homes' models, homes under construction and a few pictures of homes built by Ryan Homes that were posted by Ryan Homes' homeowners. If you see one of your pictures below, please comment to let me know it is your picture. I started saving pictures from other Ryan Homes' blogs while I was trying to pick kitchen colors and I did not note which blogs they were pulled from.

  1. Thanks sooo much for the pics! I've been losing sleep over these cabinets- butterscotch and espresso. Today is the last day for me to choose because Ryan is breaking ground TODAY! I felt like I was forcing myself to get the espresso because they were so bold and was hoping that the light tile floors and countertop would help. However, I think that I would get bored of the dark color over time.

If it wasn't for your pics, I would have made an expensive decision that I would regret. Butterscotch is going in my Avalon! Thanks again.

    1. You sound just like me! I think I will get tired of the espresso cabinets. Where are you building your Avalon?

  2. I've officially went with the butterscotch cabinets today. The espresion felt like the kitchen was small and closing in.

    I'm in PG county.

    1. You'll love how the white brightens the room. I am glad that we did not go with Espresso, even though they were beautiful in the model.

  3. Thanks to your blog and awesome pics, I'm officially getting the butterscotch cabinets, Santa Cecilia granite and engineered floors. Since my decision, I haven't lost a wink of sleep and I'm excited about my kitchen now and have put the espresso cabinets to rest.

  4. Help! We are trying to decide between the Avalon with the closed family room, bigger bedrooms and jack/Jill bath and the Waverly with the larger dining room and family room staircase...any suggestions?

    1. One of my good friends has lived in a Waverly for 8 years. She had her house on the market and was going to build an Avalon a few years ago. The dining room and living room are setup just like they were in our Courtland. That is the downfall with both of those models. The dining room and living room are very closed off and never used. Every single time I had a party, nobody would sit in the dining room, because it was too closed off from the rest of the house. Everyone always ended up in the kitchen and morning room. The Jack & Jill bathrooms in the Avalon are awesome! The 3rd bathroom upstairs is also great for guests. The pantry was a huge selling point for us! Also, I prefer the open layout of the Avalon over the Waverly. I also prefer the location of the office and powder room in the Avalon. The bathroom in the Waverly is too close to the kitchen and the office is small.

  6. You have a beautiful home! Do you know if Ryan homes still offers the full loft option in the Avalon? Have you seen it? I'm also curious about the second sunroom off the family room. I was curious if you knew anything about those two options...

    1. Thank you! I was just informed last week that there is a new Avalon model, the Avalon Isle. It has an option to finish off the attic as a loft. I have seen the sunroom in person. It did not appeal to me. The sunroom is placed off of the family room and the rear windows in the study are deleted.
